Newborn photography in Sofia
The best window is between day five and day fourteen: the baby still sleeps deeply and curls into the poses that photograph so well. After the third week it works differently.

That is why newborn sessions are booked in advance — before the birth, against an approximate date. Once the baby arrives you message me and we find a day within the week.
The room has to be warm: babies are photographed undressed, and in a cool room the session simply doesn't happen. Studios with underfloor heating are rare in Sofia, so we either use a space I know is warm or I come to you.
The baby sets the pace, not me. If we need to stop for feeding or settling, we stop. That is why the minimum is two hours — so nobody is rushing.

What age is best?
Between five and fourteen days, when the baby sleeps deeply and curls naturally. Later works too, but the photos are different — more open eyes, fewer of those curled poses.
When should I book?
During pregnancy, against an approximate date. Message me once the baby arrives and we'll find a day within the week.
Is it safe for the baby?
I don't use poses that require artificial support or compositing several frames. Everything is shot as the baby naturally lies, with a parent within arm's reach throughout.
